Founded in 1873 in Japan, OJI HOLDINGS CORPORATION has approximately 26 thousand employees and is present on 4 contingents with more than 300 subsidiaries and manufacturing units, which produce countless types of papers and related products, such as: pulp and specialty papers, printing and writing paper, newsprint paper, packing paper, standing out as global leader in the industry.

OJI HOLDINGS CORPORATION has sustainable forest management and paper recycling as means of protecting and preserving nature as its principle.

In September 2011 the Japanese group assumed control of the specialty paper mill, starting its operations in the paper industry in Brazil.

However, the Piracicaba plant started operating in 1953, producing paper from sugar cane bagasse pulp. The paper mill reaped some laurels along its trajectory, where it achieved the position of national and Latin American leader of the specialty paper (thermal and self-copy).
